Buick and Yelp recently announced a new partnership that will let Buick drivers make reservations at restaurants right from their car. An update to Buick Marketplace in November introduced the feature, which marks the first time Yelp Reservations has been accessible from a car infotainment system.

Yelp Reservations is product from the globally trusted Yelp review website and is still in beta testing, but it has already gotten lots of use, especially for American, Asian, and Mexican food restaurants, the company reports. Yelp already provided access to all the information on a restaurant you could want — now it makes the last step of calling to make a reservation that much easier.

The app allows you to search restaurants by cuisine; check ratings, reviews, and price range; and make reservations for up to 10 people at restaurants in a 25-mile radius, either online or by calling the restaurant right from the app.

All 2017 and newer Buick models offer Buick Marketplace on at least one trim levels, so any driver who fits the bill and has a Buick Infotainment System can use Yelp Reservations through their touch screen. Marketplace provides access to a wide range of options in addition to Yelp, like finding low fuel prices and even paying for fuel from the touchscreen, deals on service, and more.
