At Hatfield Buick GMC, we are excited to share the news that our owner, Bill Hatfield, has been nominated as Time Dealer of the Year. This nomination came from Brian Maas, president of the California New Car Dealers Association.
In a statement regarding his nomination, Bill Hatfield said, “The chance to be a trusted adviser to 105 years’ worth of customers and their families is very rewarding to me. I also take great pride in being a good employer to our many employees and their families. We are all in this together and we need to work together.”
Hatfield Buick GMC has been in business since 1913 and was started by Bill’s grandfather. It was then led by his father and uncle, before he took the lead role. Today, his two daughters also work at the dealership.
This award is considered one of the most prestigious honors a new car dealer can receive, and this year’s winner will be announced at the National Automobile Dealers Association Show that will be held in March in Las Vegas.
To receive a nomination for this award, a dealer has to show not only exceptional dealership performance and customer service, but also heroic community service. Hatfield has served in leadership positions for the YMCA of the East Valley, Rotary Club of Redlands, and more.
We are so proud of Bill Hatfield, and are honored that the award may be coming to our own dealership.
