If you caught the Super Bowl, you probably caught a glimpse at a Buick advertisement during one of the commercial breaks. This commercial stands out in a sea of other Super Bowl commercials for a number of reasons.
According to a Buick press release, the Buick Super Bowl commercial was the first one to air for the Buick brand during the biggest of big games.
Super Bowl commercials do not come cheap, so Buick knew they had to find a way to make it stand out. First, they chose to promote the luxurious Buick Cascada.
To make it stand out even more, Buick enlisted the help of New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and actress Emily Ratajkowski.
“We wanted talent that represented attributes of the Buick brand and design philosophy,” said Duncan Aldred, vice president of Global Buick Sales, Service and Marketing “For Buick, Odell Beckham Jr. represents unique talent and commitment to excellence that mirrors Buick’s commitment to performance. Emily Ratajkowski brings style which aligns with the Cascada’s design and adventurous spirit.”
