GM is rolling out of 2014 in style, with rising sales numbers this November. In fact, the brand’s November numbers were some of its best in years, due in part to favorable conditions for drivers as well as amazing Black Friday deals.
Sales executive of GM Kurt McNeil cited solid economic conditions as a huge factor in their sales increase, when he said, “More people have jobs and job security, their wages are starting to increase, household wealth is growing and low pump prices look like they’re here to stay through 2015.” Though, of course, Black Friday buzz couldn’t have hurt.
GM November sales find themselves next to Chrysler and Honda in their success, leading the pack combined in what is likely a record for the auto industry. Numbers from Autodata Corp. claim industry-wide sales increased an astonishing 4.6% in the holiday month.
