The 2014 and 2015 GMC Yukon helped GMC reach its highest June sales since 2006.

If you’ve seen more GMC vehicles driving around Southern California the past month, you’re not going crazy! It’s because GMC vehicles have been flying off the lots. GMC has announced its best June sales performance since 2006 and the best start to a year since 2007 for both retail and total sales. Total GMC June sales were up 11 percent and retail sales were up 5 percent year-over-year.

Leading the charge were the all-new full-size Yukon and Yukon XL SUVs as well as the Terrain compact crossover and Sierra pickup truck.

The Yukon and Yukon XL demonstrated the biggest growth with year-over-year retail sales up a whopping 83 percent, while the new Sierra and Sierra HD pickup had their best start to a year since 2007.

The Terrain experienced its best June ever with retail sales up 9 percent year-over-year. Part of its success can be attributed to its available forward collision alert technology, which has helped it earn a 2014 Top Safety Pick+ rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety and help make it popular with families.

The 2015 Terrain and Terrain Denali will come standard with OnStar 4G LTE capability when they launch this summer at Hatfield Buick and GMC. Check them out!
